In the case of a child’s allergy to dairy products, we can reach for plant drinks, which are additionally enriched with vitamins and minerals. Some toddlers will also benefit from lactose-free, goat or sheep milk.
2. What if the baby doesn’t like the taste of milk?
Although cereal with milk is a favorite breakfast of children, there are some little ones who do not like the taste of milk and will sooner eat a cheese sandwich than drink a glass of “that disgusting white”. Let’s agree, rational arguments about the benefits of milk, the amount of calcium and the lack of osteoporosis in adulthood do not reach stubborn offspring, so we, adults, sometimes have to figure out how to convince our children to eat something they do not want to eat.

Let’s use seasonal gifts of nature, such as raspberries, strawberries and blueberries.
Oatmeal enriched with strawberry syrup will appeal to every child. Half a cup of oatmeal is enough to pour a glass of milk and leave in the refrigerator overnight. We can additionally enrich such a base with coconut shavings and pour cocoa-flavored milk syrup to get an interesting, tasty breakfast. In the fruit version, a porridge supplemented with a few strawberries and a delicious syrup will be perfect.
